Oocyte Cryopreservation Cycle Programs

Oocyte Cryopreservation Cycle(s)
  • The patient is given medications to stimulate egg production and undergoes a fresh oocyte retrieval
  • All eggs produced during each retrieval are frozen, initial cycle fee includes one year of storage
Benefits and Considerations
  • Typically patients choosing this procedure are relying on this as their option for pregnancy in the future.
  • The patient may use a known egg donor, if desired
  • The initial cycle can be filed to insurance, if desired, however insurance will not typically cover this procedure. The second and third cycles are offered through a discounted package, insurance claims cannot be filed
  • When the patient wishes to use the eggs in the future, there is a possibility that some of the eggs will not survive the thawing process. Multiple cycles to store as many oocytes as possible may be recommended for best potential outcome at the time of oocyte thawing and insemination.
  • An annual storage fee will apply as long as oocytes are stored
  • We are unable to guarantee that future fertilization or pregnancy will be achieved.
