Michael C. Edelstein, MD


Dr. Michael C. Edelstein is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Edelstein is a graduate of Cornell University and Washington University School of Medicine. He received his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and then did a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk. Dr Edelstein has authored numerous papers, abstracts and book chapters and lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He is a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (S.A.R.T.). Dr. Kenneth A. Steingold


Kenneth A. Steingold, MD


Dr. Kenneth A. Steingold is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. He is a graduate from Emory University and the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Steingold received his residency training at the Medical College of Virginia and a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Steingold received an additional year of fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He joined the faculty in the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia where he served as the Medical Director of MCV’s In Vitro Fertilization Program. Dr. Steingold subsequently founded The Fertility Institute of Virginia in Richmond. In collaboration with Dr. Dennis Matt, Dr. Steingold achieved the first frozen embryo birth, the first ICSI birth, and the first pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) birth in Central Virginia. Dr. Steingold has authored numerous papers, abstracts, and book chapters and has lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (S.A.R.T.). Dr. Geof F. Tidey


Geof Tidey, MD


Dr. Geof F. Tidey is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. He is a graduate from the University of Virginia and the Medical College of Virginia. Dr Tidey received his residency training at the University of Maryland and a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the George Washington University. Prior to returning to Richmond, Dr. Tidey served on the faculty at the University of Texas where he has authored numerous papers, abstracts and book chapters and lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (S.A.R.T.). Dr. Anish A. Shah


Anish A. Shah, MD, MHS


Dr. Anish A. Shah is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Medical College of Virginia. He also has a Master of Health Science in Clinical Research and Health Economics from Duke University. Dr. Shah received his residency training at Duke University Medical Center and completed a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Duke University. While at Duke, he was an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shah has received extensive training in assisted reproductive technologies, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and screening (PGS) along with third party reproduction such as donor eggs. He has authored numerous papers, abstracts, and lectured extensively on topics relating to infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (S.A.R.T.).
